    New product

The Westmalle Double Brune beer is a Belgian Trappist brewed at the Trappist abbey of N.D of the Trappe du Sacré Cœur. For tasting, it is advisable to let the beer rest a little beforehand, then carefully pour the liquid into a Westmalle calyx glass leaving the yeast deposit in the bottle.
It is a mahogany-colored beer that develops in the glass an abundant and persistent beige-colored foam. This coloring is due to the double dose of malt used to brew this Westmalle. From the glass escapes a powerful and malty aroma with very flowery fragrances, caramelized alcohol and yeast. In the mouth, the finesse is obvious. One notes immediately the liquorice, the caramel subtly burnt, the tones of grilled, a bitterness dry and long. Malted flavors spread out over the palate. It is a delicate and delicate beer. A good Trappist vintage, a little less powerful than its brown sisters of Westvleteren or Rochefort, but of undeniable quality!
